As one of the newest golfing societies, the Honorable Society of Denver Golfers was formed in 2008 and is committed to maintaining the history and tradition of the game. The HSDG gather annually at a historic golf course and play with clubs made pre-1975.

The first annual outing is scheduled 23 August 2008 at the historic Willis Case Denver public course. The game will be followed with a traditional garden party at the lawn bowling facilities in Washington Park. English Garden Party attire is recommended.

HSDG Rules:

• All equipment (excluding balls and tees) must be manufactured pre-1975.
• No buggies or golf carts allowed during tournament play
• Push carts are allowed (although discouraged)
